Bellevue Manor Guesthouse in Cape Town?

Has the worst telephone service there is...when we called to make a booking they answered with a rude "Hi", we asked who's speaking and he said "With WHO do you want to speak". We just said asked how much it is a night and he gave an amount different from a website, thinking that they have other accomodion we told him that. All of a sudden he was so stinky saying that if we want cheap accomodation like that we should go to a backpackers. We then asked him if he was the owner and he said YES very rudely. We then asked him how can he run a business like that, how can he talk to his customers like that? And he just hung up. So STAY AWAY from that guesthouse, one can't even make a booking or they will insult you and hang up while you're talking. A business like that doesn't deserve a good review.

Good point! Even 'Lonely Planet' gave them a low rating and there has been reports of bed-bugs and incidences of prostitutes being brought in by guests.
