For you smart people!?

"What asks no questions, but requires lots of answers?"

A riddle I havent been able to find, I think it's telephone but I am not really sure, you tell me your opinion on what you think it is. Please tell me how certin you think your answer is.

Telephone.

I didn't tell my hubby that you had said that, just quoted him the riddle, and that's what he said and he's the smartest person I know (Yale, etc).

I think it's right too because a phone gets answered all the time but never asks a question.

A door. I heard that one in a pub quiz a few years back 100% certain. Telephone was also an answer that night.

it is the telephone because the telephone doesn't ask you a question but you answer it everytime it rings.

How can it be a telephone? The person on the other end may ask lots of questions? And if the person on the other end isn't asking then no answers are required.
How about a T.V.? It doesn't ask but you have to decide to answer things like-turn it on? or off? up or down? which channel?
