Why would Yahoo! considered this a Violation?

Reason of Violation:Spam & Advertisement

--------------------------------------...

The user simply asked for information on finding a recruitment agency, they neither said anything to promote the company, or gave details (other than the name) so this is hardly an advertisement.

My answer simply listed some web sites that would aid the user in looking up the address for themselves (in the nature of web sites, they are companies too... Is this advertising?)

Finally just assuming that the question is the violation, and not my answer, isn't it WRONG of Yahoo! a) to accuse me of the violation in the email & b) to delete my question and the points I got (I got best answer before it was deleted) after all the hard work I put into answering?

P.S. The question was deleted too.

I dont know why yahoo would remove it. I personally think someone reported it, to be a jerk. Then yahoo received the report, DIDNT read it, then took your points. Its an ongoing problem that needs to be fixed.

Sorry youre dealing with it too. Alot of us here are.

yes there are many things you can get notification for including another member can turn you in too

one of mine got booted because i dont know why. heres the question:

"Why are wookies so awesome?"

seems fine to me

because you didn't put the sites in your references section and it looks like a possible advertisement. I guess they are picky?

because it's google? O.o I dunno, I got a few of my answers deleted without much sense either. After all your answer at least tries to help... =P

Because "Teenagers" make up the yahoo panel, I'll bet they get a ride to work, in MOM's NEW S.U.V. !

IT IS WAY TO OBVIOUS THESE INDIVIDUALS DID NOT READ YAHOOS POLICIES.
READ PEOPLE.....IT IS GOOD FOR YOU.

Because there are some TROLLS on Answers that think any link posted in an answer is Spam and Advertisment and report it as abuse.

Your Violation continues to prove that Yahoo is lying when they claim that every Abuse Report is reviewed by a person. No one(not even a minimum wage flunky) is this stupid to agree that those links are spam or advertising. It also shows how stupid the TROLL is to think it is spam and advertising. It is obvious that the system is computerized and automatically removes Q & A's and issues Violation Notices.

we all get violations that doesn't make sense.. but it's the people of misery in answers, who are reporting us.. and i think yahoo answers are on auto.. and no one reads them anyways.. but because we were reported, yahoo has 2 back the report up by sending out violations.. hang with us, get use 2 it, it's the real world.. bummer eh ~
