How can I understand her?

I麓ve been dating a girl for a couple of weeks, sudenly one day she kissed me, thats all we did, we spoke on the telephone the next two days, as usual, mostly about trivial things, the yestarday I called her and she wont answer the phone and didn麓t call back.
she said to me the day of the kiss tha she liked me and wanted to date me. Why does she do that? Usually when she did not answer, she called me back a couple of hours later, its been more than a day.

She may be shy and doesn't want to seem too pushy. Or maybe she's taking advantage of the fact that you're too readily available to her. Do your own thing and see how she reacts. Don't push--well not too hard anyway!

You don't say how old you both are, you sound young to me, so I'll say you are probably both a bit confused about the whole thing.
The incident you describe, when she kissed you, sounds to me like she feels she doesn't want to get out of her depth, then when she told you she didn't want to rush things, she felt sorry and gave you the kiss to console you. Now she's feeling that she gave you the wrong message, and is keeping away from you.
Nothing you can do if she won't talk to you. You have to mark it up to experience, and get on with your life.

Don't expect to understand everyone, certainly not those who won't explain themselves.

simple answer: no man has ever been able to understand a woman, and never will be able to do so. Your expectations are too high/unreasonable. Women do not understand themselves, so how can men be so naive as to expect to understand this obtuse gender?
