intimate....anyway...here comes the personal questions that you hate.!.but they come anyway!)...so "what are your payments on your home?'...and you are prepared...and you say..."they are what i can afford"...and he says.."well, what is that?''....and you are SHOCKED THAT HE WOULD CONTINUE TO ASK....and you just REPEAT YOURSELF...'THEY ARE WHAT I CAN AFFORD"....It has been the 4th date...should i just say.later..."i am sorry, but i do not think this is working out..".you are getting too personal and i do NOT even know you well enough"...on the telephone...then STOP returning his calls???? i have had some guy ask me WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU HAD SEX??? i was appalled!!!...i just answered...later.."that is too personal for me to answer."...he just ACTED like it was a regular question!!! If something makes you uncomfortable, then say so. It maybe that the person is not trying to be offensive, but has a different set of morals and values. If you are offended or put off and you let the person know, then they have the choice to either apologize and back off or show their claws. Then you will know where the person is coming from. However, if you get a bad vibe from someone, then trust your instincts. They really are your best defense, and they won't steer you wrong. Think about it, when was the last time that you followed your instincts and regretted it? Why not just tell him? Some people just don't know the meaning of personal.For example when someone asks you how much is your car note?, How much is your paycheck ?How much is your rent?Or How much did you pay for your house?.There's just no end .So I just started flat out saying "Not to be rude or anything but I don't think that ,that is any of your business" Wooderson and Ellie nailed this one for you I believe. |
