Update: Husband Worries?

Not a question, more of an update and thanks to everyone who took the time to answer my previous question.
Its been 8 months since I posted my question regarding my (Soon to be ex) husband, In November I moved out of our bedroom, spoke to his mother and discovered a lot of the complaining about me that she was allegedly doing did not come from her!
And took control of my finances then also.
I found proof New years Eve that he was cheating, I found her telephone number and called her as it was clear she had children who were also involved, he lied to her about me as much as he was to me about her.
I moved out of the house at the end of March, I am now in a new relationship with the most wonderful man who treats me like a princess, never fails to make me smile and lavishes me with love and compliments.
I now sleep at night, look healthier and happier than I have done in years and am building new friendships with people I trust.

Thankyou so much, it just goes to show it can be done, yes it was tough and I asked myself if I was making the right decision 100 times but after one day away I knew I had! Once he knew I was definately leaving he begged, literally on his knees at times, for me to take him back, declared he loved me and wanted to make me happy. I realised this was all part of him wanting to be in control, once I took control for myself he became angry, aggressive and at times even tried emotional blackmail.
Guess my message really is that if I can do it anyone can, so anyone out there thinking they dont have the fight left in them to do it, you do, and life is much better once you have!

well done babe, there is life on the other side isn there, i made the move 4yrs ago although different circumstances. But me too met someone and remarried. Life does get better don't it after all those yrs of unhappiness. Good luck in your new relationship. keep blossoming.

The same happened to me ! Got myself a good one now who treats me wonderfully. He has let be me be me and always tells me he loves me. Best of all, I have my self respect back. I now like myself. Good luck in the future xx

Oh Thank God. Now I can finally sleep at night, and go back to having a sex life of my own. I was not able to achieve nor sustain without knowing how your situation turned out!
