With Strictly Come Dancing, have I got this wrong?

I am the world's biggest fan of Strictly Come Dancing. I absolutely adore it, but I do have a question.

In the UK, this year we have the results programe on Sundays now. I think this is good.

Here is where I am unsure. I read somewhere that they record the results programe straight after the main Saturday show. That obviously saves everyone from having to assemble again.

So the public are having to phone in their votes. Apparently the votes are continued up to the Sunday results programe. That must be right.

My question: how can we have a results programe with public votes going through to Sunday, if the show is recorded from the Saturday?

Am I the only one wondering about this? I hope it is not another telephone votes scandal.

As it is a favourite programe of mine, I would love to hear some good sensible answers.

Yes the results are recorded the same day but the phone lines close at 9 pm on the Saturday night so I'm presuming the programme is recorded after this but what i don't understand is why its then not shown live and why the BBC seem to think we're all idiots and want us to believe that the Sunday show is going out live .Do they not realise we can tell the judges are in the same clothes the audience are in the same clothes i always look at Billy Zane he's hardly about to wear the same clothes 2 nights on trot the only two that changes are Bruce and Tess. And besides all that 2 of the judges fly out to America straight after cuz they are judging the American version which is recorded on a Monday. Wake up BBC we're not stupid stop treating us like we are.

No it states on the show that voting closes at 9pm, we just have to wait in suspenders till sunday
