I am unable to get into my Canada mail a/c from UK - what is going on ??

I have not heared from my Daughter in Zimbabwe for 18 months the situation for her is now quite critical (financially) - cannot afford even the price of postage stamps let allone a telephone. However a week ago a friend of mine returned from a visit to advise that another party with a lap-top (no address), had agreed to allow her to use same to write me a letter - the only 'e' mail address she has for me is the Yahoo Canada address.

Now "Sods-Law" appears to have intervened at this most nail biting moment - I have no way of communicating any other 'e' mail address in any kind of hurry (mail takes at least 30 days to a fixed add. if she had one) and, I am not aware of which medicines she is unable to procure, for me to even try to assist from this side. Besides which I need this full account of her current situation in writing if I have any hope of being able to assist her say via the British High Commission there in Harare.

What 'e' address can I use to get a prompt answer ???
