Dream Interpretation?

Well, one of my close relatives explained that she had a dream last night, and I myself couldn't find out the answer for the interpretation. Maybe someone in the world can? Below is exactly what she said to me:

"It all started as I was in bed, sleeping. However, it didn't feel like a dream. It felt like reality. My daughter was downstairs, washing the dishes, and my son was watching television. I then suddenly heard some footsteps. I believed it was my spouse. But when the person entered the door, I realized it was two men, dresses all in black. They had a rope with them, and tried to tie me up. I was scared, believing that it was real, so I threw a telephone at them. Then suddenly, they disappeared."

I myself was completely mesmerized when I was told this dream. Can anyone please help to interpret it? She seems very frightened, and she just recently got out of surgery if that helps to interpet the dream.

two men in black = stranger, insecure
tied up = restricted.

It may seem like an insecure dream. However, this also hints something in contrast to men. Notice that the dream shows the difference between daughter and son. That indicates some dissatisfaction of the dream of being housewife. She may have some discontent in her mind that she feels restricted.

Projecting two men in black shows sign of insecurity. Actually that also indicates unfairness in her mind. Being tied up in this case could mean freedom taken away. In this case, she may be feeling lack of control in some way. In other words, she is feeling helpless and she had to vent out dream like that to show how restricted she is into now.

One's home is a safe, private sanctuary. Having such a comfortable place be violated indicates that she is feeling vulnerable. Perhaps this stems from the surgery violating her body. The children represent the feeling that the core of her being is threatened.

She is unsure what she is afraid of - the men wore black. She feels like she has no control over it - the men outnumbered her and were restraining her.

The telephone represents communication. After confronting the attackers with communication, the threat evaporated.

Conclusion:
She feels vulnerable but is unsure what about. It is all a misunderstanding, and she just needs to confront the issue head-on and talk it out.

Sounds like she has a fear of being so 'tied up' in things, possibly her surgery, that she is ignoring her kids??

ii realize that the dream was very scary but i would like you to know that dreams are made up of symbols in the sub-conscious to help you deal with real problems in your daily life that you cannot handle in the awake state. what you experienced is called a lucid dream and they can seem very,very real. we all suffer from this type of dream throughout our lives. black for us indicates evil,wrong-doing,things that are bad. that's part of our culture. the rope indicates that you feel tied up unable to move or do anything. it holds us back and keeps us a prisoner. the fact that you threw the telephone at them shows that you are trying to fight back and make an effort to take control of your life from something that you are afraid to admit too or else that you don't recognize or are afraid of what you might find. you need to sit back somewhere where you can't be bothered for ahwile .somewhere where you won't be too hot or too cold and do some critical thinking about your life and see what is in your life that might be scary to you and you don't want to face. i don't know your age so i am going to make a few guesses here. if you are fairly young it could be that you are afraid of leaving home and going out on your own. you might be afraid of getting a divorce,of finding a job or getting a job. a first job or going back into the work force after being out of it for several years. maybe you had a very bad relationship and there is a possibility of a new one on the horizen and you are afraid of a commitment. there are many possibilities here
that is why i said you need to sit down and take a critical look at your life to see if you can found out what the answer is. there is so much i don't know about you that i can only take an educated guess.

She believes her spouse is not being completely honest with her.
