How does a phone / fax work ? |
I want to purchase a fax machine for my small company. I know that other companies I deal with use the same number for a phone and fax. When the phone isn't answered by a person the fax machine kicks in. How does this work exactly ? You shouldn't need to upgrade your phone line. You do need a fax machine that is designed for this. The fax actually should answer the phone line first. When it doens't hear a fax machine on the other end, it then routes the call to the regular phones. |
