What does it mean to be soulmates? Please read my details and tell me if this fits into that category?

I'm putting this question into a couple of different categories, because I think it might be wise to have some different answers and opinions and see who understands where I am coming from.

I have a very good friend. We are very fond of each other, yet we haven't met (yet). We'll be meeting in the spring. Anyway, we have gotten to know each other online and over the telephone - we seem get along so well...we think the same things, we even have similar habits and quirks from what we have discussed.

Anyway, I sent him a Christmas pkg with cologne and some other items. After he opened it, I keep thinking I smell cologne. I told him that and was getting ready to say 'i guess we're linked' when HE said it first. This kind of stuff happens all the time. Does this mean we're soulmates? I've never had this kind of connection with anyone - especially someone I've never even met face-to-face. It's creeping me out.

It sounds as though you two are soulmate material, but you haven't even met - once! I don't think that a determination can be made on whether or not you are truly soulmates until you meet each other and spend some time together. I hope all continues to go well, and that it is even better when you do meet :)

sole mates get along on mostly every thing and you barely ever argue if you think hes the one he might be but bomt get too ahead of your self ok

Don't let it creep you out! over 5 years ago I stumbled upon a chat room, and got an IM. Turns out this guy was great, everything I wanted, and I wasn't looking for love, we just found eachother. Now we are engaged and set to be married in the spring. We met about 2 1/2 years after we started talking. I went to Vegas for my 21st birthday, and he met me there, we have been crazy about eachother ever since. Good luck!!!!!!

2 me a soulmate is some1 you know in ur heart and soul and when u talk 2 them or r around them ur heart skips a beat. u know u will b with them 4 eternity and u don't want no one else.

When you meet this gentleman, upon seeing him for the first time, if you are soulmates, YOU WILL KNOW!

soulmates...someone who is exactly right for you. you could fight with that person but you still love them no matter what. soulmate is somepne who treats you with respect and will always love you. someone who would do anything for you no matter the consquences. someone who you trust and they trusted you back. someone who never would cheat on you and be truthful to you. someone who appreciates you. someone who calls you beautiful and not hot and means it too. someone whos cherishes you and when going out for dinner...wants to pay for it because they love you.

soulmates= two halves of a whole

Soulmates know what each other is thinking before anyone has to say anything. it usually happens with time and getting to know each other completely. Seeing that you have never met in person it sounds like you may be compatible but it's too early in the game to say your soulmates, in my opinion.

Anything is possible. But just because you guys can say something the other person is thinking does not make you soul mates.
I met my husband the same way and we also had the same type of connections on the phone. We even met in person several times and the same thing happened in person. Several months later, we moved in with one another and let me just say, you really dont know someone until you live together!
Dont get me wrong, I love him with all my heart but I guess I expected things to be easier because we really seemed to "CLICK" on the phone..
My advise is just follow your heart but ALSO use your head and dont rush things!
