What if this guy was pursuring you...and you had told him over the?

telephone.."Hey, you are a nice guy, but I am NOT interested in dating you"...then we talk somemore until i said..."I have to get going"...see ya...But, here it is...He continues to call...I do NOT ANSWER THE PHONE..i have it documented in a journal of mine...He had called 5 times...how i found out is i have caller ID...Now tell me..."Doesn't he get the hint?"..i have told him straight out...What is a matter with guys like that??? Once someone tells me.."Hey, I like you as a friend, or I am not interested in a relationship.....i am..done with him...I GET IT.....

He is hoping you will change your mind, or he has not gotten the hint. Either way, tell him in nice, but in very clear terms that you don't want to date him.

hey i have a "friend" who does this same thing. its sooo annoying! i feel you, but so far nothing i tell him seems to work, so maybe they are just clueless

I would say answer the phone and tell him again that you aren't interested in him. Dont try to be his friend, he obviuosly can't handle that. Just be very firm. If he persists to call, have your phone company block his calls so he can't even get through. It'll be pretty obvious at that point. Good Luck!

Find out if your state has a Harassment or Stalking law. If so, on the next call, tell him that if he calls again you'll file a complaint; if calls or visits again, do it.

The problem is that a lot of people will tell him you are playing hard to get. I've seen that on here even, oh she's just saying that so you will chase. I would just continue not taking his calls, he will eventually figure it out.

guys don't get hints a lot of times we are kind of dense that way -- you can tell him directly hopefully he is adult enough to deal with it.

i had that happen to me when i was younger, it got really bad, to the point where he would show up at my house and my mom would yell at him to leave, he didn't leave me alone till i started dating someone else, then he dropped out of school when he found out! best of luck!

Maybe he had one last thing to say, perhaps even to say that he's happy to be friends with you. See what he wants, and if he doesn't get it, then don't answer any more of his calls.

You've given him the impression that you like him as a person.

You don't have to talk to him if you don't want to.

After the 5,000th call or so he'll probably get the idea.

Not answering, and not calling him are the best ways to not get involved with someone you're not interested in dating.

It just takes time.
