Getting "back to good".?

I met my b/f here on Answers. I am hoping now that the people here can tell me how to crawl out of the hole I have dug for myself. He lives 10 hours away. We have not met; the only way we have to communicate is email & telephone. And, yet, I KNOW that I have found my soul mate. Next week, he was supposed to come for a visit however I screwed up BIG!!! Now, he has decided that this may not be a good idea, that we need to wait for a while. I cannot handle that. I may sound completely crazy, but the thought of just the 5 days until his visit but bad enough although manageable b/c he would be here soon. Now, I don't know what to do. I know that getting so upset is not helping matters, but I feel like my heart is breaking. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. And, while I expect to have some negative feedback, please go easy on me-I feel bad enough.

I completely understand how you feel. Even though it sounds silly to be feeling this way with a guy over the internet, it very much IS real. Feelings you have for someone over the internet and phone can be just as serious as feelings in person. Aside from touching that person, it's the same thing to your heart and emotions.

Is there anyway you can talk the guy into still coming down? The fact of the matter is that if he really cares about you, nothing will stop him from coming to see you. Sure, it may put him off for a bit, but if he decides to never come down for quite some time, perhaps you should look at someone else. You deserve better than that - MUCH better. I'm not sure what you did to mess things up, so I can't really touch on that too much, but perhaps there's a way to make things better again. If you're comfortable with it, send him an e-mail apologizing and telling him honestly how you feel. Or send him some text messages being polite or funny. Play on his emotions and what would interest him. If he's a funny guy, use that to your advantage. GET YOUR FEELINGS OUT THERE, hun. You can never go wrong if you do.

I'm hoping that you're not already envisioning your wedding day with this dude... You may think he's the one and he may possibly be but DO NOT ever let this person take over your life as in your emotions are ruled u him and his actions... it may be wise that you guy delay this meeting.. sound him out with whatever emotions u've been going through... this way not only will u know how he feels, but u can also get some peace of mind for yourself.
