Just curious?

im a witness for the states, on fri i was on telephone standby just in case they need me. i ask the attorney if i dont get call on fri do i have to go to the trial on monday she said no i called my case coordinator and on the answering machine she said please come in and call over the weekend to see if there any changes what happen when the state atorney told you not to come in then change her mind and say come in.

Being a witness for the state means you are testifying for the prosecutor's office. By what you said above, it sounds as though the trial is going to reach a point where your testimony is going to be called upon.

There is a possibility that the case coordinator and the prosecutor are simply not keeping up in their communication, which could have caused this mix up in what you are supposed to do, but play it safe and make sure to call in and/or show up. A phone call to the prosecutor's office first thing Monday morning certainly wont hurt anything.
