Very good that you drew this to peoples attention. Of course some people might be caught. These scams wouldn't exist if this was not the case. Yahoo Answers often has questions about people who have been contacted by supposedly Yahoo saying they have won big cash prizes, when none exist. People hope.

I think it's pretty obvious that it's a scam. You would have to be new to the internet to actually believe it. But I guess this will be useful to some people.
