So at the cost of 5 hard earned point's who else uses Verizon dial -up networking?

I live in rural Maine, and have just undergone a mandatory dial up telephone # change took almost 2 weeks to get re-connected and is slower then ever. The harder I try the worse it gets, takes at least 2/3 minutes to submit an answer after I click on the submit link any one else having this problem? or should I just eat more Lobster and forget about it? only the serious need respond Thank's, Bill

Having been in your state more than a few times, I must agree that Maine puts the R in rural. I'm not sure that DSL has penetrated some of your great state yet (especially downeast Maine).
It's kind of expensive (about twice the cost of DSL) but you might want to check into satellite Internet. I have some friends up here in rural Washington, and that's what they use, since they cannot get cable or DSL

Dial-up is really slow.What you should do is get Verizon High-speed Internet.It's about 15 dollars a month (for the lowest speed) but it's about 10x faster than dial up so it's super fast.

Oh yeah and sometimes I have the problem with submitting the answers about how it takes a bit longer and I even have High speed internet from my cable company

I reccomend eating obsters and uprading your internet speed
