Does anybody else NOT want a cellphone?

I hate answering my regular phone. The one with the hard line in the house. My husband needs a cellphone for his job. He decided to get a family plan and get me a cell phone.

I have no need for one, and would like to just eliminate my home phone service, but worry that my cell phone won't be working and I'll be stuck without a phone in case of emergency.

We have spent hours having the phone company re-program my new phone because it wasn't working. We have been messing around for a couple hours with the settings.

I dread using that stupid thing. I despise watching people in personal conversations while sitting in the doctors waiting room or in the DMV.

I still remember when we had phone CORDS attaching the handset to the module. My 15 month old baby has a board book about telephones, and the kids are using those old-fashioned corded phones. She keeps asking me what those cords are. She doesn't understand because all our phones are cordless.

u would need a cell phone. ur husband is right. u might need to comtact him incase of an emergency.
u should tell your baby what cords r. u r doing the right thing by keeping cordless phones because what if ur baby chokes herself by putting the cord around her neck?
