Does anyone know what this phone number is? |
I recently got a "Caller Display" phone from BT. The other day I got a call from an 0845 number, which I didn't answer, and when I Googled the number it turned out to be a double-glazing firm. Last night and just now I got a call from 0845070082. I can't find this number by searching the internet. A while ago I signed up to the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) but it hasn't stopped these 0845 calls. When you sign up for the Telephone Preference Service, it doesnt stop ALL 0845 numbers calling you, it only reduces the amount you get. TPS will take about a month to 6 weeks - when they ring again tell them to remove your details form the database as you are on TPS - if they refuse - report them - they are not allowed to do it - tps does'nt stop these calls permanently, but if the number is the same number that rings every time, just ask bt to bar that particular number!! thats my number i just called to say i love you lol It's definitely in the UK. Try ringing them until they answer. Then ask them to stop ringing you. |
