where can i find a telephone that you dail moving around a cirlcle? you know, the old ones.

Ebay, antique stores.

Thrift store maybe or go on-line and see if anyone has one. Maybe garage sales.

Like others have said, you could easier find them in thrift stores, yard sales, ebay, estate sales, etc. They're very fancy.

It's called a "rotary phone". Yes, ebay. You rarely find the real deal anymore. You usually find ones that have buttons in place of the holes and it makes it LOOK authentic (yeah, right).

This has been replaced by touch-tone phones (beep!) and it's actually easier. However... what if your keys don't work?

You can STILL dial out! It's like S.O.S.. on your receiver (not cell phones and cordless), click the hang-up button for as many numbers as the number as you want then pause for a second or another number.. 0 gets 10.

For example, for 9-1-1 you....

tap 9 times and pause....

tap 1 time and pause...

tap 1 time and you're through.

This is there for a true emergency (sure wish they'd advertise it's still there though).

I shop thrift stores and yard sales often, and the last time I saw a rotary phone was at a yard sale. Granted, it was the only time I've seen one at a yard sale and never seen one at a thrift store. I have seen them more in antique stores than anywhere. Good luck!
