Will we all live like the Amish when Jesus comes back?

I was wondering when Jesus comes back to earth if all of the modern conveniences that we enjoy today will be abolished forever. Will we live without electricity, telephones, computers, internet, radio, television, and will we be forced to travel by carriages and sailing ships? Will we all be farmers? I enjoy many aspects of modern life and don't want to see them go, but I could certainly do without wars, crime, disease, death, and corruption and all the bad things that plague this world. Please no facetious answers. I don't want to hear from people who are atheists because what do they know.

No, because, as peaceful as the Amish are, they have rejected the primary role of a Christian: Preaching the good news of God's Kingdom to the world.

We'll live jsut like we are now cept in peace cos God is gonna organize every last detail of everyone's life for them so there will be no stress, worry or sickness... it'll be on the verge of a perfect society of human unity. Everyone will live in complete happiness and be very content with their lives.

If we do than I will make sure he dosen't come back...personally.

look at it this way, if you have kid's, before my baby was born I thought what he would look like and it was so nice, but when I seen him he was 10000 times better then what I could have ever imagined.

If you look at the Baha'i point of view, we have already seen the second coming of Christ. We are still using all of our modern conveniences because we still have free will. Imagine if we were forced to live a certain way, even if it a good and righteous way... We would be like prisoners! How boring!

Many of those things we will no longer have use for. You will not need a car or plane, or electricity and such. The world will be different. How, no one really knows. I would not worry too much about that-worry about which side of this thing you will be on. If you are on the right side-then things will be right. But, if you are on the wrong side-everything will be wrong, and you can not change it.

Technology is not evil, but people can be. That being said, jesus does not exist, and never has. Oh, and no, I am not an athiest, either.
