Why do I keep dreaming of telephones for 4 nights in a row?

First night was that I was trying to call my dad who has passed away, but I couldnt remember the number. I kept trying to dial it, but couldnt remember it.

Second night was that I was talking to my mother in law on the phone about a difficult issue she has been dealing with. I felt insecure because I knew that I didnt have the answers she needed, and because I knew that I didnt really care about her issue.

Third night was about me calling just any number that came to my head because I was bored and someone that I know answered the phone. I dont know this person very well, just seen him a few times and spoke to him once. I havent even seen this person recently - so I dont know why he showed up in my dream. I was ashamed because he knew it was me and said my name.

Fourth night was the same thing... I wanted to make a phone call to just any number again because I was bored again, but I didnt because I was afraid someone would find out again.

Why phones??

Phone in your subconscious mind is a mean of communication.

You projected phone in your dream because that is symbol of communication

#1 Calling your dad - you want to call you dad and dont remember the phone number. This shows a little guilt conscience of you
#2. Feeling insecure when talking to your mom-in-law. There is an obligation to fulfill in your subconscious mind, this is another one.
#3. Feeling bored and called any number, another act of guilt conscience. You are trying to find your true self
#4. You may be hiding from something. Using phone is a way to tell some people you trust.

However, in conclusion, you are having some guilt conscience issue. There may be something in reality that you wanted to tell people about and yet you find no one that you can trust and to you phone is a communication device you can depend on, but you are still seeking for someone to listen to you.

Perhaps you are not keeping in touch with someone who does not live near you. To dream about phones four nights in a row would make me think I owed someone a phone call.

Think hard, and see if you don't come up with someone you've been neglecting to keep in touch with. :)

May be you will get an important phone call or you need to make a phone call to someone you haven't talked to in a while.

You probably forgot to pay your phone bill.

Perhaps you feel you need to tell someone something.

other than the telephone ( simple means of communication) I'd advise to look at the four scenerios - even though one is repeated...... Attempt / desire to communicate with a parent - - - - in law parental figure - - bored twice & seeking to just communicate .....

perhaps it is an issue of communicating about communication. The first step I'd recomend is to talk to your mother in law. I'd stay away from the dream stuff for now, but in a way that you feel would be appropriate for the level of your relationship, talk with her about hers and your communication styles and desires for communication within the family. Take what she tells you and talk to your spouse about it & you two have a conversation about communication styles and desires for communication within the family.

Basically for a woman to dream of talking on the phone usually means she will have a jealous rivalry, but will overcome any evil influences.

It can also be foretelling that you will meet strangers who will harass and bewilder you in your affairs.
