With telephone interview they catch you offguard what about people who are good in doing but not expressing?

There are millions of people who are very hard working honest and good people and who are very good in doing any sort of jobs in most environments/circumstances but they cannot express themselves or answer interview questions properly? so what about them?

Go to most supermarkets and department stores, 70% of staffs have take it or leave it attitude and they never help you properly, those sort of people can get jobs because they are good in interviews. and the good helpful people cant get jobs because they are not good in interviews. Everyone is perfect in one way or the other.

I agree = we can start by privatising the Education system :-)

... otherwise, forget it - the Government will just impose yet another 'target' (such as 'all students must pass an 'Interview' exam ...' ) and the schools will simply learn how to jump through another set of hoops without any actual improvement taking place ..

Failing that we can just continue as we are - businesses that employ hopeless staff will alienate customers who will either shop at rivals or on the Internet .. this will eventually put them out of business ..
