Observant enough to see that you posted the answers and to know how to copy and paste...
And I wouldn't say we "don't see" this type of stuff, it's just so ingrained in our brains we take it for granted and don't really notice it. Take, for instance, your absolute favorite song - if someone does a cover version of it and changes the lyrics, you may not notice it the first couple of times you listen to it... it might take five or six passes, even if the lyric change is obvious.
Same kind of thing here. We see these items or signs so much that they're "ordinary" - and we don't think twice about them most of the time. |
