Spiritually speaking of course, how much do you hate telemarketers? |
I have been receiving several telephone calls on my cell phone from the same telemarketing company. They never provide a company name and always offer different producsts. Usually I ignore them but today I'd had enough. I went through the promps when I received the phone call and spoke with a person. As soon as I said "Remove me from your call list." She hung up on me. I called back at least 10 times and I'm pretty sure the same person answered each time, and each time she hung up on me when I asked to speak with a supervisor or told her to take me off of their call list. I just received another call from the same company offering a different product. Again I went through the promps, spoke with a person, said "Remove me from your call list" and he hung up on me. I think it was the same company because the use the same hold music and use the same practices in hanging up on people when you ask that they remove you from their call list... UGH! So I registered my telephone numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry. Does anyone know if this really works? I would record these conversations, and tell them to stop calling. If they continue to do so, you can take them to court and win a crap load of $$$ for harassment! Be a little kinder to the people who have to work in a "boiler room" telemarketing office. I had to do that briefly years ago, although, I understand that with the new technology it can become an assault on the home front. Politely listen to about one minute of their spiel and then say - no thanks and tell them you are hanging up. It is a crap job and people who are being forced to stop dinner to answer a phone regarding frozen meat or steak knives are usually less than receptive. Bottom: If you registered, give it 3-4 weeks and it will quit. (don't count on local fire and police, however; they will continue) i don't hate the telemarketers, but i don't like their ways of selling their staff either |

Yes i really think that being a role model is very critical about behaviour and stuff like that because for example if a football player rapes a girl then maybe kids and irresponsible young adults ... That's easy dear, all you have to do is pray.... ... |
