How to make a really good telephone?

plz i need the answer beacause were gonna make a telephone!!

Have you considered buying a telephone from a store? It might prove to be a better option instead of trying to build one.

A telephone is not for amateurs. Although, a telephone circuit is not that complicated.

1. You have to have a chip(basic MCU and a ROM) to control the circuits, the display, pulse dialling, Called ID, and phone book memory. Get a software guy to do the basic programming.

2. You have to have telephone speech IC to isolate the PSTN from your phone for safety. This IC will also be used for DTMF dialing and ring detection. Google it.

3. You may just buy the handset and the coil cord.

4. Design a DC power supply circuit or you can get the power you need from the line.

5. Google a simple telephone circuit for better understanding.
