Why do teens and young adults today only......?

talk thru text messaging? IT seems they are afraid of land line telephones, as if someone actually cares about what they are saying? They will almost resort NOT answering their cell phones, only text. WTF?

Its just wat you said they don't want anyone to know wat they are talking about. Since they are at the time of self actualization its where they feel the need to keep secrets from certain ppl.

i think you are exaggerating just a little bit, texting is just a more convenient way of having a conversation, you don't have to worry about being able to hear what the person has to say because it is written, which also means they do not have to turn down the radio, it also gives them a sense of privacy because everyone can not hear what is being discussed.

only because they dont want others to know that he/she is talking with that person whom they are messaging.

And its easier to be in contact with that person and also have fear of someone thats why talking through message.
