Help indian telephone spammers!!! (not bein racist but its soo true)?

as u r aware, in uk we get looads of indian ppl callin us at our house tryna advertise their product (SPAM). most of em r polite (thats fine with me even tho it kinda annoys me sometimes). but some of em r soo out of their league that i wanna kick their *** right there. for example... there was this indian guy who asked for my dad to talk about mortgage discount. my dad wasnt home at that time. so i told him he'd b back at 8pm (this was the usual time he'd b back). then he called me back at 8pm. but my dad wasnt home. so i told him that he wasnt home yet. then he just yelled at me and hung over. i was so maddd!! then after that he called at 8:30 and asked for my dad. i was rli angry so i told him to buzz off and hung up. then he called me back & started speakin rubbish wimme. i didnt have a caller id. my phoneline is provided by BT. so i need u guyz to answer these. how do i get his phone number & how do i report him in his workplace? coz i rli rli wanna sue this guy & get him fired.

i want that idiot to either get fired or call me back and apologige for muttering rubbish back then. do u guyz think its possible for me to do that? like call bt and tell em to check the phone number of whoever called me at 8pm that day. and find out which company it belongs to. then ill call their manager and finally deliver the final blow MWAHAHHAAAA!! *eyes turn red*

This is what happened to me a few weeks ago.
This indian guy called me about a mortgage discount offer and he wanted to speak to my dad and he didnt even know his first name correct so i told me that its wrong number but still he wouldnt hang up and then he asked me for my home address details and i asked him why and he said i cant tell you why because of security reasons lol. Then after few days he phoned me again then i said he's not here and its a wrong number anyway but he said ok sir i'll phone back. Then next day in the evening he phoned again regarding mortgage offers and i said its still a wrong address but he still didnt understand me so i told me to stop phoning me and asked him to speak to his manager but then he hanged up. lol. Now thats a total spam. And yet the guy still fones me and i cant do anything about it because i dont know who to complain. BT havent got a clue of how to resolve this problem for me. I wanna do the same thing, get the guy fired because when i speak to him politely he dont understand me and likes swearing at me just because i aint buying his crappy mortgage deal lol. anyways i have gave up on this issue as ther is nothing that can be done except for hanging up when he calls.

Usually your phone has a callback or phone tracing service for a dollar or so that will be on your phone bill that you can use by picking up the phone and dialing *57 or something.

go onto your BT.com website and apply for TPS (telephone preference service) this will stop them failing that do what i do.
When they ask for MR DARK CRUSADER, i say please hold the line and i'll connect you, i then put the phone on hold next to the radio speaker for about 20 minutes or so. Because they cant cut you off properly on their PBX exchanges every time they try redialling out they will get RADIO 2.

OR just blow a whistle loudly down the phone that stop them from hearing any more for the rest of the day.

agree with dark crusader, register with the tps. if he calls again ask for the company he is representing, search them online, phone book, yellow pages etc, and call head office and demand to be taken off their marketing list.
another option, just tell them you are registered with the telephone preference service and that they are not allowed to call you.

Unfortunately, the chances of getting hold of this individual are very slim, however.... feign interest, and they will provide more information!!! If you are registered with (TPS (telephone preference service - or BT privacy), and get as much info from the scammer as possible, like asking what the name of the company they represent is, their line manager's name etc! Just bull them the way they are bulling them! Then, while their little finger finger is quivering with excitement, tell them that you are reporting their company to OFCOM, that you have enough info to have them hung, drawn and quartered..... and give up as they WILL!!!! have hung up now!

To start ask BT for BT privacy, its free caller ID. otherwise you have to pay for it.
Register with the TPS site... this stops most UK firms cold calling you.
Geta phone with a caller ID display, log the number. or if they with-hold their number pay for a few months the service the barrs incomings calls who with-hold their caller ID.
That fixed it for me! completely
