How private are you with your telephone number? |
I hate giving it out, but many sites demand you give it to them, and some call you...even if you request them no to do so. p.s. Then they never sent the free math lesson... I use to be very private. But, last week my daughter and I was messing around on the computer. Typed in our names here where we live, and not only did we get the phone number and address, they gave a map of how to get here. Talking about freaky. And they gave all the names that lived in our home. Shivers.... I use a fake one unless its someone I'm depositing money with or my credit card company. Everyone has a right to keep their phone number private! I really hate giving out mine, and it really is unnecessary to give out, unless someone is going to actually deliver something to you! we have unlisted phones...my oldest daughter had a boyfriend who would call and just sit on the phone...not say anything etc...so we got unlisted |
