How many bones have you broken and how did they break? |
I broke my little toe running to answer the telephone, it got caught on the leg of the bed. It wasn't even who I hoped it would be. Oh, well! broke all my fingers in 1973 playing volleyball. my fingers got spiked instead of the ball. 2 years ago i broke my right wrist, my right arm and tore my right rotator cuff when my arm got caught in a machine at work. There are now 3 titanium screws in my right shoulder, a large metal plate in my forearm, and four bones had to be removed in my wrist because of being crushed. lost most of the wrist movement but can still ride my motorcycle with no problem. 2 bones 1 ring finger playing basketball and broke my left knee in a car wreck so bad that the knee had to be replaced My Dad broke his foot getting out of a rocking chair. He walked around with it for a couple of days because he couldn't believe that you could break something getting up from a rocker. I think that his foot was probably asleep and he didn't realize it. i broke my leg once and it broke cause i fell off a tree i know it sounds stupid but i was little :) Ribs (attacked) Cracked a clavicle at 15 years - summer camp - ran into a stream, full bore, not realizing that the stone bottom was slick - slid sideways, right onto my left shoulder . . . very painful lesson to be learned - still have recurring neck problems from it!!! Does chopping a bone off in your finger when caught in a door count as a break? 4 ribs - auto accident. little finger -fell Total truth 26 ( two were delibreate during a recent surgery) I have broken 4 bones in my life. I broke my collerbone playing hockey. I fell off of a swing backwards and broke my right arm. During tag, my finger got caught in a persons jacket who was running, so it snapped my finger. And when I was four, I fell off of the sink in the bathroom because i was trying to get my toothbrush. I ended up breaking my left arm None. Even though I spent 25 years in the Navy (eight of those years with Fleet Marine Forces) and am presently 69 years of age. I've never broken a bone. i never break my bones, takce care. all my figers bike accident,nose hit with baseball bat leg and arm fell from moving car. Those darn little toes! I did the same thing when I got up in the middle of the night and caught it on the leg of the bed too. I also broke my ankle when I slipped doing the polka at my nephew's wedding. I broke my little toe when a 6 pack of soda cans fell on it. Broke ribs-fell at age 9 zero... I am probably going to wish I hadn't answered this Q but I have never broken a bone. Wrist - fell off bike Left arm ice skating on a frozen pond we created in the back yard. Thought it would be "cool" to be on the end of the WHIP. I learned from that it is never cool to be last one on a whip. I am 30, I have never broken a bone, woo hoo. I probably will now though. Toes too many times to count , arm twice, ribs 3 times, thumb once, foot twice, head fracture once, surgery bone removal total 5, hundreds of stitches. I made my mom a nervous wreck BTW, There are probaly more Apparently I wasn't the most graceful of kids. LOL My dad would get fed up and try using duct tape on me, that was even funnier! Just one. I broke my ankle when my foot got caught in an automatic-opening door. Broke my skull when I ran my bicycle into the back of a pickup truck. Had to have 15 stitches in the top of my head. That was in 1962. Before there were helmets. I have broken no bones, but sometimes I wonder why I didn't. Been in situations where something SHOULD have broken. Guess I'm just a 'tough ole bird.' Broke my collar bone playing statue tag when I was four. They grabbed me by the arm , spun me around I lost my balance and fell on a rock and broke my collar bone. I smashed a finger with a rock hammer once.. smashed to bits, and I also broke my wrist falling on icy steps after shoveling the snow. At least the snow shoveling was done. In 7th grade, I broke the finger one in from the pinkie on my right hand. I broke it by playing "volleyball with a small ball" with a friend who had a broken leg--I accidentally hit her <gulp> in the jaw. My finger was black, swollen and hurt like crazy for weeks. Long ago, in times of yore (hee hee!), mothers didn't always think you were really hurt. She convinced me it was a bad sprain. Two on the side of my foot. Playing baseball when I was twelve. finger on right hand. tried to stop a fight where three guys were punching on another. |
