Women and telephones? |
I work at call center where telephones are readily available. And the women are always on the darn phones talking--it's not an emergency either. It's stuff they could have taken care of before work or after. They tie up all the call lines and I'm stuck taking all the customer calls because my line is the only open line. Why is that women talk so dang much on the phone? It's so irritating...becuase 80% of the time I'm answering the customer calls. Should I complain to our director? And if you couldn't tell by my avatar...I'm a woman also. So don't start with the sexist stereotyping stuff please. You could talk to your director, but I imagine that there is some sort of way that the director knows what phone calls they're making and receiving. There has to be some sort of QA at your job. There was at my job. They know if someone made a personal call. I would just do my job and let the others hang themselves in the end. However, if it appears that the director is unaware, you might want to say something. Do you really want to be seen as the whiner? |
