I wrote out a check on monday for pick n save where I work. I realized now that my telephone automatically took my money out early and now I dont have enough money in my account. I get paid tomorrow from Pick n save. I am scared I am going to get a 31 dollar charge. What should I do? Has Pick N Save deposited the check? If yes then there is a good chance it bounced. Not only are you going to have pay the overdraft fee but you will have to pay Pick N Save back for the checking bouncing plus the fees they were charged. Don't worry so much these things happen to best of people. Just explain what happened to Pick N Save now it will look better for you. The store management usually has the option of reducing or If you wrote the check on Monday, chances are their check either already cleared, or tried to clear and got sent back. If it got sent back, the store might just run it again, when they pay you tomorrow. Why don't you first call the bank and find out exactly what has or has not cleared. If your bank says they sent the check to pick n save back, then go to the office manager at your store and ask them if they can run it again when you get paid. |
