How many conservatives feel this way?

i never held a political affiliation....but the democrats no longer have anyone moderate or even close to center.

and i am not going by what they say on the campaign trail cuz thats all bs.

but when you look at their voting records and positions they take in office..they are all far left radicals with views completely irrational on all accounts.


i mean if one them jsut had a couple conservative views to share with me (like tax relief and pro life) i would gladly consider giving them my vote...

but that party has gone off the deep end.

I agree. I have never voted Dem because they never have any compelling candidates, the last one was JFK but that was before my times.

I am a conservative and republican more by default then anything else. The democratic party has been taken over by the extreme end of their party; militant pro-choicers, communists, socialists, etc. Zell Miller was a conservative democrat, like many in the south. But like the rest of them, they have been ostracized from the party. Even being a moderate can get you shut out, especially if you dare to be even moderately pro-life.

Moderate Dems and Republicans are making up more of the largest voter group. We are thoughtful voters who know that like a business, you need to work together while maintaining your principles, share ideas and establish best practices from what has worked in the past.

I agree that, as a moderate, I would feel very frustrated by a choice in Barak Obama. No, real moderate candidate, would ever get the type of far-left media endorsements like Sen. Obama. This is why, even though I'm not a Democrat, I am angry that Senator Obama is treated like he is moderate so he can get our moderate votes. It's misleading and I wouldn't want a Republican pandering to me if we all knew that he/she always voted Republican party line.

This is why I have a hope in McCain because I know from his record that he's had the courage to go against his party and feel the hammer. Going with the crowd, like Obama is easy, and he insults moderates by doing so.

Reducing elections to one or two issues is ignoring the big picture considering all the crucial issues this country faces. It's the cons who have gone off the deep end while pandering to voters who have been manipulated through a hot button issue or two. What about healthcare? War? Education? Energy? Economy? Deficit? Environment? Diplomacy? Clean air & water? And a dozen other areas in which we must dig ourselves out of the hole we've been put into.

The liberals have taken over the party. It is sad, I agree. We have put forth the worst candidate possible for this election. I think the Democrats are going to find out that most of us are more middle of the road, at least I hope so. Maybe that will cause my party to head back to the middle. By the way, i feel the same way you do. If a conservative would share just a few views with me, I would vote for one. Like putting people welfare ahead of corporate welfare.

You people have it all backwards. The republican party has been manipulating the country for decades now. What is wrong with you people. You are going to ruin everything. All you people are satisfied with business as usual but I am not.

We have the money, we have the momentum, and we have Barack Obama. What do you have? A tired old fart that will make all his rich Friends richer. Squirm if you like, cry, moan, lie, but your time is done.

I was a registered Democrat until this election cycle when I switched. Might not believe in everything the Republicans have done but at this point have 0 faith in the democrats .

many of them are personally pro-life and they personally have other conservative views. but they all belive other people can have right unlike them

Democrats do have people closer to the center: Bill Richardson, for example. They're just too stupid to nominate them. Maybe some day they'll give me someone I can vote for.

Conservatives have had their chance to make this a better country - they failed. It's time for new ideas, liberal ideas. Don't like sharing power? Go live somewhere else.
