Where does Obama lack experience, and how does McCain have that experience?

People are always going off about how Obama lacks experience, but where exactly does he lack it? How does McCain have more experience when it comes to being president? I always believed that until you had done a term in office, you were inexperienced, but then again, I think if Bush were to be given a third term he still couldn't get it right. Feel free to share your thoughts, but please don't post a poor and uneducated response full of gramar and spelling errors.

Sadly, this is what I expected when I devised this question. I haven't made my final decision yet, but it looks like it's probably going to go to one of the posts that lists the accomplishments Obama has done since he's been in the Senate. If anyone out there supports McCain, list some things he's done instead of giving a vague and blatant response like 'he knows how to fight the terrorist' or something along those lines.
I have yet to hear about any of McCain's accomplishments while he's been a politician, or what he plans to do different if elected, so far he's only attacked Obama's 'change' platform.
For those of you who didn't know, Obama's father was an immigrant from Nigeria, while McCain's dad was an admiral in the Navy. To even get as far as Obama has gotten, he must've done something right. McCain really wouldn't of had to do a whole lot to get to this point, just look at our last president and his path of glory to the white house.

Some of Obama's experience. Someone else will have to post McCains. I looked at, wasn't all that impressed and then promptly forgot about it.

Obama:

During the first (8) eight years of his elected service he sponsored over 820 bills. He introduced
233 regarding healthcare reform,
125 on poverty and public assistance,
112 crime fighting bills,
97 economic bills,
60 human rights and anti-discrimination bills,
21 ethics reform bills,
15 gun control,
6 veterans affairs and many others.

His first year in the U.S. Senate, he authored 152 bills and co-sponsored another 427. These inculded
**the Coburn-Obama Government Transparency Act of 2006 (became law),
**The Lugar-Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation and Conventional Weapons Threat Reduction Act, (became law),
**The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act, passed the Senate,
**The 2007 Government Ethics Bill, (became law),
**The Protection Against Excessive Executive Compensation Bill, (In committee), and many more.

In all since enter the U.S. Senate, Senator Obama has written 890 bills and co-sponsored another 1096. An impressive record, for someone who supposedly has no record.

How does McCain have more experience no of then have been president. Like you have said. As of Obama he has written 890 Bills and co-sponsored another 1096 since he entered the Senate.

some major ones

1) the Coburn-Obama Government Transparency Act of 2006 that became Law,

2) the Lugar-Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation and Conventional Weapons Threat Reduction Act that became Law,

3) the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act that passed the Senate,
4) the 2007 Government Ethics Bill that became Law,

sounds like experience to me.

McCain has a political career that spans decades and inculdes an impressive Rolodex of top notch political allies, scholars and advisors---quite likely a group that's better than Bush's Cabinet choices!!

Obama's career is basically a fast-track one, put together by racist politics. His Rolodex inculdes Al Sharpton, Louis Farrahkahn---and Malik Zulu Shabazz, leader of the neo-militant "New" Black Panther Party For Self Defense, the "African American" version of the Nazi Skinhead party.

McCain is Bush's boy, who will likely keep the Iraq War machine running for years---and I don't want Shabazz heading Homeland Security w/ Obama's blessing.

Therefore, I've opted to vote for any one of the OTHER CANDIDATES, listed on the ballot. I say "Why not give someone else a try at the job?"

NEITHER Obama or McCain will have MY vote!!

Obama lacks experience in telling the truth and being sincere. McCain is much more honest and has a lot more genuine character and integrity.

Liberals always pick weirdoes like Slick Willy, that fat pig Al Gore, John Kerry... and now Barack Hussein Obama. They don't have any tolerance for someone who's down to earth and normal.

Some of the people answering these questions are just ignorant. Do some research, some of America's greatest presidents had little executive experience. Some of America's worst presidents were supposedly "experienced". The majority of you need to do some research before you decide to answer questions.

Good question. I see your receiving the usual non informational responses - Obama - bad, McCain - good; which fail to acknowledge Obama is where he is because he's effective and McCain is where he is because he got shot down and was a POW 40 yrs. ago

Yes, it was McCain's experience that got us into an unwinnable war. Chalk that up to experience. What are we stilll doing in Iraq? When are we leaving? What level of unrest are we willing to allow prior to leaving?

McCain? Still waiting for answers.

let's see were Obama lacks experance o let's say every ware he's only been in the senate for 4 years and 2 of those years were runnin for prez. But mostly on his national security he'll sooner surrender to the terriosts than fight. While John Mc knows what he's doing

oh Obama has lots of experience.....he has about 20 years worth of hatred under his belt

Obama lacks a lot of experience in every topic you could mention, and it looks like we may spend the next 4 to 400 years discovering that fact. If you do not have any idea what I am referring to, I'm certainly not going to waste my time.

McCain, instead of being treated with the respect he deserves, will be treated to peoples' concerns about his "age issue".

Oh I'm sorry to inform you, but you obviously have made your decision - you'll be blindly voting for Obama and the money machine. Why bother to give the many examples of McCain's competence when you are obviously only going to shoot him down - again. So sad...

And that's another thing, you've got the country wrong - He's from Kenya. If you can't get your facts right, why should we bother to try and reason with you?
