I feel like i should do this..what is ur opinion?

i remember going to india at the age of 11..when my cousin came to pick us up from the airport, the first thing he asked was do u remember us..then i asked him why he always asks if i remember them, and he said because i dont call or use email..i moved to california in 1999...then in 2001, he calls me and says "no email, no phone call..then he asks me if i have email and said we will be in touch every often..at that time, i was only in 7th grade and i started going crazy..sending him too many emails, along with the same email..after he told me he was in charge of his office, i only wrote when i had something interesting to share..then i wrote to him for his birthday and he replied he was joining a new company..that's when i stopped writing..after i called them for new year's in 2006, i stopped calling..then my cousin called me and started complaining i stopped writing and calling then suggested i call and write to catch up once in a while..i dont get why he started complaining

i feel that i should write to him when its important..when i met him during his visit to the usa, i told him this and he said once in a while was okay..then i told him i didnt want to make the same mistakes i did before and he said he understands, and said i can always write a new message..what is ur honest opinion..how should i keep in touch without going overboard and pleasing them..what does once in a while mean..does it have to be every month..this year so far, i ony called and wrote once, if i dont call /write for the rest of the year, did i stop writing/calling..

You have became obsessed with Ur cousin.. and so worried about him
has he written?
has he called?
then he can't complain.. about u not doing so.. if he is not doing it...

just write him a short little note.. once a month.. that should be sufficient..
it will be OK..
sometimes.. people just say things.. like
call me or write me or email me..... JUST TO BE NICE...

or u have done Ur part.. leave it along until u hear back from him..
perhaps he has changed his mind.. or just tooo busy to be bothered..
