Shared File accessing in WIndows?

I have internet connectivity to my home computer. also I have internet connectivity to my office computer. I have a shared folder in my home computer. Can anybody kindly tell me how the shared folder of my home computer can access from the Office computer. I am confused on how to search for the shared folder from my office computer.

You can't access a shared folder across the internet just like that. Sharing a folder makes the folder visible to others on the same intranet, but not over the internet.

To do this easily, you can install a small free software called Hamachi (on both home and office computer) which will enable you to view and work on your Home computer from your office computer. Using this software you can access you home files from the office.
