Custom made a laptop through dell cost is $714 want know if it a good buy or should i wait for other specials? |
here are the specs Not too bad for the price, but you could do better. It really depends on what you want to do with it. If you want to play any new games on it, you will be very disappointed, as the graphics suck. Given the choice, I wouldn't buy a computer with Vista on it. You should still be able to get WinXP SP2 for it from the factory. You could also do better with the hard drive space. If you have any aspirations of storing any movies or music, you will be disappointed with it. no way... that would be a good computer if it had atleast a 2.3 chip in it. That Processor is just too lame for the system. It depends on your purposes. It does seem pretty high for vista basic.... Why did Dell make this custom? it seems like any other laptop in the market..maybe priced a little lower, but still... Seems high for a Vista basic system, with nothing special in it, it even has mail-in warranty. |
