Ladies: Any experiences or stories about wearing holes in your socks?

Any females out there have any stories or experiences they want to share about getting caught having a hole in their sock...getting noticed by a friend, boyfriend, husband, or girl friend, or at work, school or the office? And what was their reaction when they noticed the hole in your sock?

I was at school and i was meeting with the dance team and we were taking my shoes of to practice the dane and my friends were like
"um katie... u hav a whole in ur sock like rite there...by ur toe....."
and i was like
"yea i no i dnt really hav a lot of socks"
and then we started this conv. about how we hav wholes in sum of our socks and about how they most of the time dont match

Happens to me all the time, don't think anyone's noticed yet. I usually just roll with it, but once I was ticked off because I wore out a cool pair of socks with a dragon design on them (given to me by a friend, because I was born in the year of the dragon). Those were nice socks.
