Excel - read only / pdf ? |
Hi i am putting a holiday excel on a shared server (my office) however i want it to only be read only therefore tamper-proof. i have followed the HELP read-only steps but it does'nt seem to work.. and i can still edit the work book. any ideas on how to make the holiday workbook tamper-proof?? The suggetion (from slez) to use sheet protection is probably the least annoying option. No pop-ups and such. Tools -> Protection -> Protect Sheet Adobe Acrobat PDF has its proven security. Only it can be edited through Acrobat Standard/Pro or Foxit Editor only if editing is allowed in the document. |
