Automatical page breaks in Excel. Help!?

I know that in an excel spreadsheet, excel will automatically put in its own page breaks that continue to automatically adjust to put the most data on one page. Or, you can do manual page breaks. The automatic page breaks show as a short-dashed line, while the manual page breaks show as a long-dashed line.

Here's my problem:

I work in an office where we used a shared excel worksheet. Every day, I have to go in and manually delete the "manual" page breaks because I suspect that someone keeps adding them in. The automatic page breaks look different and cannot be removed. When I go into the spreadsheet every day, I find that there are manual page breaks that have been re-added. Before I bring this to my supervisor, I need to make sure that excel doesn't automatically put in these "manual" page breaks for some reason...

Make sure that you are in the Normal view, not the Page Break view.

View>Normal.

Also look in the shared settings to see if the check mark is on for retaining the Personal Print Settings.

Tools>Share Workbook > Advanced Tab

Otherwise, it's kind of like trying to diagnose a patient without seeing them. :)
