Being too Friendly with Female Co-Workers?

I hope anyone can help.

When I started my job, there was a girl at work, really nice to me and invited me to a company conference in the city. We took the train and she asked me who cooked dinner for me and I told her my wife did. The next day, she was really mean to me and the next four years, she did not help me at work and complained about me alot.

Another co-worker, I told her about it and she invited me for coffee almost everyday for 3 years and shared private stuff. When her husband started working here and she was pregnent, she hung out less with me. Also when I started hanging out with my female boss, she started to bad-mouth me to the boss.

As for my boss, she started to invited me out for coffee/lunch almost every day for a year. However we didn't agree on stuff and I have a new boss. Now she goes to her office and walks by my cubicle almost everyday, even though it's awkward and a longer route.

Could it be possible these females had feelings for me?

Maybe.

But this an argument for why women should not be allowed in the workplace. They are driven by their emotions, not ration.
Not to sound like an **** (90% of my friends are females), but I hate working with women. They take everything too personally, and are unable to "get over it" if they get pissy about something.

I want to say "Man up!", quit bitching and just do what needs to be done.

Yes, indeed! if you can avoid it , don't be too friendly with women at work . As you are seeing it can lead to trouble.

Doubtful. Did you ever think that maybe it's something you did that made them dislike you? Maybe the second co-worker has legitimate reasons for bad mouthing you to the boss (and maybe she's not the only one that's doing it) which would also explain why your boss is constantly checking up on you?
