Missed period and a negative test...Could I still be pregnant?

6 days late now, 8 negative pregnancy tests 1 of them digital and 1 semi-positive test. My wife went into the doctors office today and they did a pee test which came out negative also. Unfortunately, the doctor was out of town so they didn't do a blood test. But, the nurse said that there was some blood found in her urine and that it could be a sign of either her period getting ready to start or a urinary tract infection. We're still hopeful that she is pregnant even though there has been so many negative tests. She never is late for her period, if anything she's early. We had a miscarriage about 3 months ago and are now worried that there could be something wrong. If anybody has had a similar issue please share.

Its a good possibility that she is pregnant, especially if one of the home pregnancy test showed up semi positive! When I was pregnant with my second child I had to have 8 blood pregnancy tests done and the first 7 showed up negitive and the 8th one bairly showed positive! that whole time, they thought my son was an ovairian cyst and put me on medications for that for about a month and we didn't know we were pregnant till I was almost 5 months...personally with my experiance...I don't trust my period (because I had it the first 5 months of both of my pregnancies) the home tests couldn't pick up the pregnancy hormone for some reason. Wait a few days and get another home test and have her take it with her first morning urine....its more concentrated (I am a phlebotomist so I work with this stuff)and you might get a better reading! And maybe still make a doctors appt when he gets back into town weather she is or isn't Goodluck and Congrats if she is!!!

Wait, you think your pregnant? Or your wife thinks shes pregnant lol.. Anyways, sometimes a pregnancy test doesn't always read accurately. If I were you, i'd make an appt for when the doc is back in town. Good luck, baby dust to her!

Well, did she get her period yet? I dont know whats going on with that! How could your wife go to the doctor but only see the nurse? They dont make appointments at the doctor for the nurses! If the doc was out of town she would of seen a different doctor. Im confused about this, cuz it dont make sense to me.

she could just be late.... it dosent mean shes pregnant, but her cycle is late.... thats all it could be

nine out ten, she is not pregnant, but it is still good idea to see a doctor as soon as he is back, urinary tract problem.

She's only 6 days late and took 8 pregnancy test and went to the doctor?... slow down, it takes time for the hormones to show in a pee test. Also MANY things can cause a womens period to be late..MANY things. They say if you get a negative once you missed your period you should wait at least 2 weeks after your missed period. I think the best option is to get a blood test because it can take up to 12 weeks for the hormones to show in a womens urine, with the blood test it dectects as soon as the egg and sperm meet.. well i don't know if that soon..LOL, but right after!

i dont quite know if that could be pregnancy related... I heard something before i believe called gall baldder or something like that with blood in the urine.. I suggest search up her symptoms just for tonite and then what ever u think she might have call the doctor tomorrow and try and make appointments to test.

Yes, I was 6 weeks late, took a test, it was negative, took a test a month later, the sucker was positive...the only way to know for sure is to go the your doctor's office or local clinic and get a blood test.

The blood in the urine is probably her period. Anyways for me it was. Lots of things can cause a woman's period to be late. Stress is a big cause. Have you guys got the okay from her OB about trying to conceive again? It seems like the both of you are unknowingly putting stress on her. She should get a checkup first to make sure her body is ready for another pregnancy. Plus it will make you both feel better because then you'll know if something is wrong. Good luck!

See I have been regular as well and now I am 5 days late and the tests keep coming back negative as well. But i have not went to see the doc yet because I didnt know how long I should wait. I have had the sore breast and some mood swings. Everyone that I have talked too said that I was pregnant and it sounds like your wife and I have the same symtoms but i dont know. I dont know what to do and I dont know what to tell her to do but I hope everything works out.
