How can I improve my office practice?

I have been sharing this office with a colleague for about a year. I visit patients only 3 days a week and only in the afternoon so he spends more time in this office.
He is older than me, aka, seems more experienced and knowledgable to the eye of the regular patient and is more risky in his practice (as an example he manages diabetic patients without knowing the principles, like metformin being contraindicated in the renal failure patients)

Sounds like you are going to have to have a talk with him before he is the cause of a lawsuit.
