Do you share an office with some one who?

Eats their lunch at their desk and sounds like a busted chainsaw in the process?

The last two I have had were pretty bad. I mean, people visiting me, would stop in mid-sentence once they recognize the strange noises coming from the opposite side of the room.

Seriously, I was just wondering if I was the only one.

Yes, There is a guy sat next to me and in front of me, with there mouths open, they sound like a cow chewwing cud! I mean what is it with people and bad table manners?! cLOSE YOU MOUTH FOR GODS SAKE!! ! its just good manners! But then i found that every day there are less and less people using please and thank you!

No, but I had a room mate like that and so was her boyfriend. That was 13 years ago and my husband, who was my boyfriend then, still make fun of them at least on a weekly basis!

You are not alone I share an office space with 2 old men who eat an apple daily....at different times
and I swear they are competing to see who can make more
noise while slurping soup and if the noise isn't enough
they snack on sardines and crackers so the smell is atrocious!

No. You are not. I once had a co-worker that talked on the phone all darned day as if she was on a picnic. Since she was the office bully, the sup was in there in the file cabinet and she continued no matter what. She felt unfireable (I know that's not a word - one made up just for her) and behaved like a 2 yr old and she was in her 50s. Then she had this laugh like she was grasping for her last breath real loud just for attention.

Then there was the boss before the gov. went smoke free who smoked Lucky Strikes - potent cancer stick. When I went home and would go to bed, I woke up and coughed the taste of those cigarettes. When his darned stapler ran out of staples, he would put it in his out-box for me to put staples in. If I was busy (in which I always was; doing my job and someone else's) and did not get to it fast enough, he would come out and put his empty stapler on my desk and take my full one to his. I feel by the time you do this ignorant butt deal you can get your own darned staples. Just the status deal going on. People do this when they feel you have no way out. However, I was relieved of both of these places.

To top it off, there was a co-worker who was a contractor that laughed like she was an alligator with her mouth adjusted to the last notch of wideness for her laugh. She never to take a clue that it's over now get back to work. Some things I have actually gotten angry enough to whack her but it was not worth it.

When will people realize that they a being disrespectful? Sometimes some of them actually have not been taught.
Then sometimes whether we know it or not, something will happen for you to be relieved. Either you or the person will leave faster than you ever can imagine or someone will complain.
