If you have an obnoxious co-worker....?

that you share an office with, and they wear their new fur coat all the time, despite the numerous times you've told them you're allergic to rabbits, is it ok to direct your projectile sneezes in their direction?

I saw bring some cheap nasty obnoxious perfume and cover the office in it, wear a mask so that it wont bother you and if your co-worker says anything about the mask say its b/c your allergic to the rabbit coat :]

Oh and PETA stickers. lots and lots of PETA stickers....hahhaa

If you are a police officer like your display states, you know the common sense thing to do.

If your not, report it to your boss or the person in charge. It is unnaceptable in the work environment.

Don't you have a coat closet?

Buy a bag full of feathers (don't know where you can buy some) and put them in an open bowl next to your desks, so when the people and your co-worker walks past it that the feathers would fly and it would get messy

then when your co-worker complains about the feathers that you brought, then you can talk about her annoying fur coat and if she can't do nothing about the fur coat, then sorry you can't do nothing about the feathers.

Yes, and without let up. And also make certain there is no garbage can at your desk, so you have to go over and hurl your snot-stained tissues in her can, sneezing and wheezing the entire time

If their fur coat is bothering you, and you have asked repeatedly with no success, go to your manager. Much like the 'sent-free' environments that are being cultivated today - this is the same issue in that regard - not to mention the ethical questions it might bring up with guests - staff - clients - corporate partners - even prospective employees.

Secondly if it is a matter of serious health - go to your manager or to your HR department. Bring in an allergy test if need be, or a medic-alert bracelet (doupt you would have one for bunnies though ^_^).

As a final resort - look up laws in your local area - ensure its legal for them to have that type of jacket made or imported to your coutny/state/province/country. That would be grounds for them to be asked not to wear it to work without you being singled out as the one who informed management. Dont try to get them fired mind you - just have your managers or HR department ask them in a quiet meeting or standard memo that fur coats are not permitted.

Wearing fur is so awful. People who wear fur coats on the street have sometimes had them spray painted bright day-glo orange.

And, yes. I would sneeze in her direction, and make sure the spray hits her, even if you have to stand up to do it.

Additionally, I would turn the heat up so she will have to take it off.

Letter to be written letting ( person) know your allergic and that it is causing you to (issue) [don't lie too]. Also let them know that in turn causes you to be less productive.

Give people in charge some options like moving you or moving them or higher walls or other ways

1=Let person know with a letter and make a copy.
2=Let human resources know with a letter and ask for a responce by a date befor you goto the next step and show that letter.
3=Let supervisor know both letters and ask for a responce by a date befor you goto the next step.
4=Let top person in charge know with all letters and if it doesn't get resolve give them a good time to fix it and then the next step is court. Hopefully not because people usually have a very good heart and will do the right thing.
Do all this as nice as possible.
