Need advice from some great psychologists out there?

Me and my co-worker have shared a long gaze often,about 3 to 4 times,but this last one was intense,since then he started coming near my department often ,first I initated the greetings but then I started avoiding him,he stoped coming,the other day I was siting in the lunch room he came the moment he entered he averted his eyes and too avoided me,After 8 long days,on valentines day I saw him coming twice near my cubicle I didnt see him,I ignored him,but I could sense that he was looking at me.today I was standing in the lobby of our office i saw him coming from far away but he turned back and made the long cut and went to the other side,which made it evident that he was avoiding me.
This is the same guy who always looked at me,locked eyes with me,always looked at me with a smile,greeted me enthuisisacally,did me favours,is he avoiding me b/c I avoided him
or does he also feel that something is developing between us as I feel the vibes

Theres FIRE and it's about to EXPLODeee between you two :)...humans act stupid sometimes...its like this if you dont see me ...then I dont see you and that's how it works. THats called pride ;) but does not have anything to do with wether the person likes you or not, its just in our nature that pride ;) and mostttttttt people, males and females are like that. I also agree with the person telling you not to get involved with your coworkers becuase then if you want it to work out one of you is going to have to leave the job....are you willing to do that...is he willing??? I would think about that twice !!!! and the problem is ...i wont even say it, just get into it and you'll find out !

P.S. I wont deny though I know what that fire feels like inside and its hard to resist and yea it feels AMAZING when you give in...but also think of consequences !!! lol

Don't poop where you sleep. In other words, office romances are awkward and can turn nasty. It's best not to go there.

I think he's being weird because you are being weird. It's possible that he was working up the courage to ask you out.... but you are obviously putting out some seriously mixed signals. You like him, then avoid him, then you act like you WANT him to talk to you, then avoid him. Do you even realize how hot and cold you are running? If he has an ounce of common sense, he would do well to avoid you. Not that you are not a great person. I'm sure you are.
