Expensive visa to Goa. Think twice before visiting? |
The price of the visa we paid to go to Goa 拢118 through a private agency because we do not live near to the visa office, i have known people travell to Birmingham in person to be turned a way when they have waited two hours, The Visa offices offer the price of 拢30. in person We british pay a lot to visit this country does any one else share my veiws Yes it's a bit unfair, but only a bit! Flights/visa are a bit pricey but once you're there you get so much for your money how are you complaining? What's the price for a visa if you visit Goa from another country? Why is it a 'we British' matter? I don't know about obtaining a visa for Goa in a different country so can't draw comparisons. 拢88 is quite a lot extra to pay but as you say you went with a private agency so you know where it's gone. It's not an extortionate admin fee you can't avoid it's what you agreed to pay. Anyway just go and enjoy Goa, spend 拢10 there, go wild, you'll get heaps for that tenner and maybe not care about this 拢88 so much. You always have to wait a few hours for a visa, passport. It's just the way it is. you've been ripped off then. i have just got my visa for Goa from the Indian High Commission in London - & it costs 拢30 per person for a 6month tourist visa. |
