So I press F2 and the computer tries to do something but then I get a blue screen, so I turn my computer off with the power button and the next time after I hit F2 I hit F8 for advanced startup options and select start my computer normaly and then I can get on.
Also, when I start my computer, I get this anoying thing that pop-ups and says a key component wtk kernel is missing. The computer is also extremely sluggish and randomly shuts down. The time and date is also wrong and sometimes the screen randomly doesn't turn on for a period of time, so I replaced the Cr2032 battery because I though there was something wrong with the BIOS, which I got a message before saying there was. I also put the BIOS settings back to the Default settings (and saved them) but it didn't do anything.
Also, I orderd this virus protection from Verizon but it won't download because theres an IE error. Speaking of which, I keep getting these certificate errors for almost every page I go on online. I also download hiijack this heres my log file if it helps...

Oh yeah one more thing... I tried to do a system recovery because my computer is inpossible and I don't have that many files on it and I don't mind formatting the drive, but then I got this message:

The REgistry cannot load the hive (file):

or its log or alternate
It is corrupt, absent, or not writable
So, I am totally stuck, I just want a working computer. Someone please help me... All these problems just recently started. Its always been kinda sluggish though. Please help... You have a serious Worm in your PC. If you have your recovery CD that would probably work better. You do need to recover it, for sure
If you do have the recovery CD ... put it in your drive and do a restart. The CD will boot up to start a clean recovery when it restarts. Follow the directions. I always recommend recovery CD's for this reason. They can be purchased from the PC manufacturer for less than 20 bucks. Well worth it. sounds like ur c drive is bad so need to reinstall the windows on it. Reinstall the Hard Drive. Your computer is fudged. You should call technical support for your product. They will be able to help you better. You didn't give an identification of what you did that might have caused this. I hope you did not use one of those registry cleaning software that you can get free from the internet. My brother used this to clean his registry from possible faults. He forgot to back up the registry. The next time he restarted his computer it was complete screwed up, with many corrupt programs. Take it to a PC repair shop.
You need "deep clean" your hard drive and uninstall your operating system. |
