Microsoft office for MAC 2004, Powerpoint won't open!!!?

it's worked before, but I just tried to open it and it gave me this error message...

The application "powerpoint" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "<Microsoft Powerpoint><><><>"

I dont have multiple account on the comp, so what the heck how do I fix this???

You don't need to reinstall it... just go to your Utilities folder (found in the applications folder) and open "Disk Utility"... then run "Repair Permissions" on the hard drive that has your operating system on it, then restart the computer... that will fix it (that is actually a good fix for most Mac problems that involve software).

P.S.- If you're running OS 10.5 then it will look like Disk Utility has frozen or stalled, when you run it, but it hasn't... the countdown timer is just really really bad... sometimes it won't even come up until 10 minutes or more into it...

If you have the Microsoft Office install disk, reinstall it and it should solve your problem.
