Ok, So now what?!?!?!?

I have a baby that will be a year old on the 24th of this month, and I just found out I am pregnant again. What am I going to need two of, besides car seats? I have my daughter in her own room and I have another room that is currently is my office area, should I move my computer and put the new baby in there, or should I have the two share a room?? They would only have to share for about 3yrs at the most, until we build our house. Any info about anything would be great?

My first two children are 16 months apart. It was a busy time! I would have them share a room and have a playroom. That way when baby is sleeping Big Sis can still play in the playroom without bothering the baby. Set up everything in your life to be as simple as possible.

You can use your first's carseat and get the one year old a new one that can be used later when she's a preschooler. you'll need a lot of new things of course. Bed's etc... I would keep the newborn in your room for the first year. Don't change the house up too much. You still have plenty of time for that. Your first will be what...19 months when the new one arrives. I wouldn't have a newborn with a toddler together... accidents happen.

If you need the office, I think they will get along sharing the same room. But it also depends of their temper. I had two brothers and they couldnt share rooms (did not get along well enough). I ended up sharing room with the elder. It went along great. I loved it...
So if you need the office, put the little one in your own room until he sleeps through the night and then move him with your oldest. If they get along, all for the better. If not, maybe you'll have to get rid of the office until the house is ready!

My older two kids are 2 years apart. A girl and a boy. I had them in the same room because she was in bed with us until he came along. She loved it and then I felt as if we were not forcing her to "be alone" and the baby was not alone. They were good together and they are 7 and 5 now and are very close. We moved my son to his own room at 3 years old. Good luck with the baby and I hope you guys get the gender and healthy baby that you hope for.
