Excel Workbook (spreadsheet) Question?

I'm working on an Excel spreadsheet assignment in Office 2007, but I'm having a little difficulty locating the AutoFit button.
Here's an example of what I am trying to accomplish....
I've been asked to assign specific data to A1:A7, change font size, use bold italics on these, and now to AutoFit column A. Well, I've looked all through Excel but can't seem to find anything that would AutoFit the column with a single button. I know that from the formating cells option that I can pick the autofit hight and autofit the width of the cells while having this column highlighted, but I'm thinking that there should be an AutoFit button if that is what the assignment is asking for. Right?
Question:
If anyone knows where or how to AutoFit an entire column on an Excel spreadsheet could you please share this advice with me?
Thanks...

On the upper left hand corner, there is a arrow button, click it th at will select everything in the work sheet

Now double click in between a column header and it will automatically resize your columns.

Hope that helps.!

Double click on the right side of the top of the column.

As already noted, you can double-click the line between columns to auto-fit the width.

However, you can also click the Format button on the Home tab and then choose AutoFit Column Width. The nice thing about that command is that you can auto-fit multiple columns at once. Whatever columns are selected will get their widths set.
